Purpose-built for the expanding AV over IP market, the M4250 series seamlessly integrates years of networking expertise from the M4300 and M4500 series, incorporating industry best practices.
Addressing the prevalent use of 1Gbps codecs in AV applications, the M4250 series features PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++, and rear-facing ports for a seamless integration into AV racks. These switches come pre-configured for standard audio and video signals, while an intuitive AV user interface allows customization through port-based profiles. Specific profiles catering to audio protocols like Dante, Q-SYS, and AES67, as well as a separate AVB profile (AVB license sold separately), are available. For video applications, the M4250 series provides profiles for NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, and mixed audio/video/control scenarios. Simplifying multiple switch configurations, NETGEAR IGMP PlusTM automates the connection process, facilitating seamless integration with M4300 and M4500 switches.
