NETGEAR AXC761-10000S 1m Direct Attach SFP+ Cable
Overview :
AXC761, AXC763, AXC765, AXC767, AXC761-10000S and AXC7610 are Passive or Active DAC versions of 1-meter, 3-meter, 5-meter, 7-meter, AXC761-10000S and 10-meter Direct Attach SFP+ cables for 10G network cabling between SFP+ devices (network switches, servers, storage). AXC7615 and AXC7620 Active Optical DAC offer even longer 15-meter and 20-meter reach. These DAC integrate active SFP+ compatible connectors with a copper twin-axial cable, or a duplex fiber optic cable into a low-latency, energy-efficient, AXC761-10000S and low-cost cabling solution. They are currently the best cabling option for short runs of 10 Gigabit Ethernet between SFP+ switches and SFP+ endpoints (servers, storage).
Netgear sells NAS devices to small businesses and consumers under the product name ReadyNAS. With this storage hardware line, Netgear vies with competitors like Buffalo, Zyxel, AXC761-10000S and HP.[16] Netgear entered the storage market in May 2007 when it acquired Infrant (originator of the ReadyNAS line).[17][18] In March 2009, Netgear began to offer an integrated online backup solution called the ReadyNAS Vault.[19] In June 2022 all ReadyNAS product pages were removed and replaced with a link to warranty and support information. Netgear have not yet (August 2022) confirmed that they have withdrawn from the network-connected storage market and discontinued the ReadyNAS product line.
