Posted on: Oct 16, 2026 | Author: Justin

How does Delta Electronics rank against APC, Eaton and Vertiv in enterprise UPS? See reputation, product lines and where Delta fits best.

Delta Electronics is a Taiwan-based power and thermal management company and one of the world's largest makers of power supplies. In enterprise UPS, it is a respected player, but it holds a smaller share than APC (Schneider Electric), Eaton and Vertiv.

Market share

Published UPS market share figures differ by research firm, region and year, so treat any single number with caution. In most reports Schneider Electric (which owns APC) leads globally, with Eaton and Vertiv close behind, and Huawei, ABB, Socomec, Legrand and Delta competing in the next group. Delta is strongest in Asia Pacific, India and parts of the Middle East. Check a current report from IDC, Omdia or a similar firm for exact percentages.

Reputation

  • Efficiency: Delta is known for high double-conversion efficiency and power electronics design.
  • Modular UPS: its Modulon series is popular for data centers that scale in steps.
  • Value: prices are often lower than the big three.
  • Service reach: in North America and Europe, the service network is smaller than APC, Eaton or Vertiv.

How the big three compare

  • APC: the widest range and strongest channel, from desktop units to large data center systems.
  • Eaton: strong in industrial, healthcare and enterprise power.
  • Vertiv: focused on data centers, with power and cooling in one portfolio.

When Delta makes sense

Choose Delta when you want efficient modular UPS at a competitive price, and local service is available in your region. Choose one of the big three when a nationwide service contract is the priority.
