What is the Ubiquiti Dream Machine? See what this all-in-one UniFi router does, how the UDM, Pro and SE differ, and if it suits your network.
The Ubiquiti Dream Machine (UDM) is an all-in-one network gateway from the UniFi line. It packs a router, firewall, managed switch, Wi-Fi access point, and network controller into one device. You can run a complete home or small business network with it, without buying each piece separately.
The original Dream Machine has a WAN port, a four-port gigabit switch, and a dual-band Wi-Fi access point. It runs UniFi OS, and you manage it through the UniFi Network app on a phone or browser. Because the controller is built in, it replaces the separate Cloud Key that older UniFi setups needed.
| Model | Best for | Key points |
