Built to mimic the official Mellanox MFA7A50-C003 standard, this breakout cable supports four independent bi-directional channels over multimode fiber using 850 nm VCSEL optics and SFF MSA-compliant QSFP28 and SFP28 connectors. Operating at approximately 103 Gbit/s aggregate data rate, each lane carries roughly 25 Gbps and ensures stable, high-speed operation across all four split channels. The QSFP28-end consumes up to 2.5 W (with full retiming enabled), and each SFP28 module under 1 W, helping minimize thermal impact in rack deployments
