The ArubaIAP-325-US (JW327A SKU) is a high-performance Instant (controller-less) dual-radio Wi-Fi 5 access point supporting IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 with 4×4:4 MU-MIMO throughput across both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. It reaches up to 1,733 Mbps on 5 GHz and 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, totaling up to 2.5 Gbps aggregate×ideal for high-density environments like campuses, large offices or hospitality venues. Featuring integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy beacon support, Adaptive Radio Management, and AppRF deep packet inspection, it seamlessly handles client steering, interference avoidance, and application prioritization. As a controller-based or Instant mode AP, it can self-form a cluster for unified management with no centralized controller needed.

The AP-325 integrates 8 internal downtilt omni-directional antennas, tuned for optimal in-ceiling coverage with ~3.5 dBi (2.4 GHz) and ~5 dBi (5 GHz) gain. It supports SU-MIMO single-user performance of 1.733 Gbps on 5 GHz, or MU-MIMO streaming to up to 3 simultaneous clients (up to ~1.3 Gbps). It supports up to 255 clients per radio and 16 BSSIDs per radio, enabling guest/LAN segmentation and multi-SSID deployment. The AP features a second 10/100/1000Base-T port for cable redundancy and link aggregation, plus optional DC power supply.Adaptive Radio Management (ARM) automatically optimizes channel and power based on RF conditions. Enhanced ClientMatch technology steers MU-MIMO capable devices to the best AP. BLE beacon support enables location services and wayfinding. Security includes WPA/WPA2/WPA3, intrusion detection, IP reputation, TPM root-of-trust, and SecureJack for tunneled wired traffic. VLAN, QoS, and AppRF offer deep application awareness and packet-level traffic control. Software-defined air monitoring and rogue detection are built into the AP, removing need for separate sensor devices.
