Overview

The Ruckus 10G-SFPP-SR-S8 is a 10 Gbps SFP+ optical transceiver module engineered for short-range links over multimode fiber (MMF), typically used in enterprise data-centre, access-aggregation, or campus distribution networks. It uses an 850 nm wavelength VCSEL laser and LC duplex connector to support 10GBASE-SR links up to about 300 m on OM3 MMF or ~400 m on OM4 fiber.It’s designed to plug directly into the SFP+ port of an Ethernet switch, router or optical module slot, therefore enabling high-speed uplinks, server-to-switch links or adjacent rack interconnects without changing chassis.
