The Axiom R0Z30A-AX is a 100GBASE-CWDM4 QSFP28 transceiver designed for Aruba-compatible networking equipment. Engineered to transmit 100 Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fiber up to 2 kilometers, this transceiver provides a cost-effective solution for data center interconnects and enterprise networking requiring long-reach fiber connectivity. This optical transceiver supports four independent multiplexed CWDM channels, each carrying 25Gbps data streams, enabling a total aggregate bandwidth of 100G. The uncooled distributed feedback (DFB) laser operates at a nominal wavelength around 1310nm, maintaining high signal quality across long distances on G.652 compliant single-mode fiber. Designed to fit into QSFP28 ports, the transceiver offers hot-pluggable convenience, allowing easy upgrades or replacements without network disruption.
