Installed in a PCIe 2.0 ×8 slot, the Adapterworks seamlessly in HPEserver platforms such as Gen8 and Gen9 ProLiant DL and ML series. Its dual SFP+ ports support direct-attach copper (DAC) or SR optics, enabling flexible high-speed uplink deployments. The Adapterenhances performance and reduces overhead through hardware offloads including TCP/UDP checksum, large send segmentation (TSO), MSI-X interrupts, and RSS for improved parallel packet processing. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6, VLAN tagging, and jumbo frames, optimizing efficiency in virtualized and compute-heavy applications.
