Black Box AVX-DVI-FO-MINI-RX
The Black Box AVX-DVI-FO-MINI-RX is a miniaturized receiver module for DVI-D video and stereo audio signals transmitted over fiber optic connections. Designed for professional AV installations, it provides robust, high-definition reception in compact spaces. Ideal for digital signage, control rooms, industrial environments, and scenarios requiring clean, interference-free signal reception at distance.
Features :
This receiver is typically paired with Black Box’s Mini Extender kit or connected to an optical splitter (AVX-DVI-FO-SP4, SP8, or SPCS), enabling transmission of DVI-D video and stereo audio over a single strand of fiber—without any loss of quality. It supports full HD resolution (up to 1920×1200 at 60 Hz, WUXGA) with 24-bit color, ensuring vibrant and accurate playback. Capable of reaching up to 1.5 km (approximately 4,921 ft) over single-mode fiber—or 500 m over multimode—this unit provides long-distance performance where copper cabling cannot compete.
Advanced Options :
Despite its small form factor, the receiver includes a DVI-D output, stereo audio output, LC fiber interface, and integrated power supply connection—all in a rugged, installation-friendly enclosure. Its fiber-optic transmission secures immunity from electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, making it ideal for noisy industrial and technical environments. With a compact footprint, it’s well-suited for tight installations behind displays, in racks, or within cabinets.
