The Black Box LGC5151A is a compact gigabit Media converter engineered to bridge copper Ethernet and fiber optic networks. With two auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 copper ports and one 1000 Mbps multimode fiber port (SC duplex, 850 nm), it enables seamless extension of LANs up to approximately 550 meters (0.5 km). Featuring auto-MDIX crossover, jumbo frame support, and link-fault detection, this converter ensures reliable performance in office, campus, or high-EMI environments
