Overview

The RUCKUS ICX7450-48P-E is a 1 RU stackable Layer 3 switch offering 48 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports with full PoE/PoE+ and PoH support, targeted at enterprise access deployments. It enables network engineers to power and connect access devices—such as IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points and thin clients—while supporting uplinks and stacking modules for 10 GbE or 40 GbE expansion. The switch fits into campus wiring closets, branch offices, or small aggregation roles where growth to higher uplink bandwidth is required. In stacked mode (up to 12 units), it serves as a flexible building-edge platform, and when paired with the RUCKUS management ecosystem it integrates into wired-wireless unified infrastructures.
