The RUCKUS ICX7550-48F-E2 is a fixed-form factor Ethernet switch designed for network engineers deploying fibre-based access or aggregation layers. It provides 48 SFP/SFP+ ports (36× 100/1000 Mb SFP + 12× 1/10 Gb SFP+) plus dual 40/100 Gb QSFP/stacking ports, supporting high-density fibre connectivity for campus, data centre edge or aggregation deployments. The switch offers full Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including static routing, RIP and OSPF, and integrates into stackable environments up to 12 units per stack. It suits campus aggregation or wiring-closet fibre-to-room/room-upswitch use — supporting the growth of fibre-connected access, large-scale wireless backhaul or high-capacity distribution.
