Overview

The APC SC500RM1U is a 1U rackmount line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to protect small IT and network equipment from outages and voltage anomalies. It delivers up to 500 VA / 300 W of backup power and stabilizes incoming utility voltage with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). This model fits in shallow racks or tight spaces where depth is limited, making it suitable for edge closets, small data closets, or branch IT racks. USB and serial interfaces allow integration with graceful shutdown software and basic UPS management.
