The APC BN450M‑CA is a compact standby (offline) uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide basic battery backup and surge protection for home and small office IT equipment, networking devices, and consumer electronics. IT administrators and technical users typically deploy this model to maintain momentary power continuity during brief outages and to protect against voltage spikes and electrical noise that can damage sensitive hardware.

This UPS delivers 450 VA / 255 W output capacity with a square‑wave output suitable for low‑to‑moderate loads such as desktops, routers, modems, and small NAS devices.
