Overview

The APC SMTL2200RM2UC is a line‑interactive rackmount uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from APC by Schneider Electric designed to provide regulated AC power and limited backup runtime to critical IT infrastructure. It targets IT engineers, network administrators, and data center operators requiring reliable outage tolerance and voltage conditioning for server, networking, and storage equipment.

The UPS supports up to 2200 VA / 1920 W output using lithium‑ion battery chemistry, offering a pure sine wave output compatible with sensitive loads and active PFC power supplies. Its line‑interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects brownouts and overvoltages without drawing battery reserves under moderate voltage fluctuations.

Mechanically, it occupies 2U of rack space and integrates eight AC outlets (two NEMA 5‑20R and six NEMA 5‑15R), suitable for mixed current loads and rack‑mounted gear. Rack mounting brackets and support rails are included for standardized installation in 19‑inch cabinets.
