Detailed Specifications
StarTech ARMSLIM2USB3 Slim Dual Monitor Desk Mount USB 3 0 & Audio
Overview
The StarTech ARMSLIM2USB3 is a premium, space-saving dual-monitor solution designed to enhance ergonomic comfort and connectivity in modern professional workspaces. This desk-mount system features two independent, high-grade gas-spring articulating arms that provide smooth, effortless height and angle adjustments. It is specifically engineered for users who require a high degree of screen flexibility, such as software engineers, financial analysts, and creative professionals, while maintaining a minimalist and clutter-free desk aesthetic.
A key hardware feature of the ARMSLIM2USB3 is its integrated base, which includes two USB 3.0 (5Gbps) passthrough ports and 3.5mm audio/mic jacks. This allows users to connect high-speed peripherals like flash drives, webcams, or headsets directly to the base of the mount rather than reaching for the host computer. The slim profile of the arms makes this mount ideal for workstations located in tight spaces or against walls, as the arms can be retracted to a very low-profile position.
The mount supports two displays from 15 inches to 32 inches, with a weight capacity of up to 17.6 lbs (8 kg) per arm. The gas-spring mechanism enables one-touch adjustments to height, tilt (+/- 90°), and swivel (+/- 90°), allowing for precise ergonomic alignment to reduce neck and eye strain. Furthermore, the VESA plates support 360-degree rotation, facilitating quick transitions between landscape and portrait orientations. The unit includes both a C-clamp and grommet mounting hardware to suit various desk configurations.
