Overview

The Ubiquiti UACC‑AOC‑SFP10‑5M is a 5 m active optical SFP+ cable for connecting two SFP+ ports at 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds. It uses multi‑mode optical technology with duplex SFP+ connectors and an aqua PVC jacket for identification in racks. Supported data rates span up to 10.31 Gbps with backward support for 1 Gbps links, suitable for short‑reach, high‑bandwidth links between devices such as switches, routers, or servers. The AOC design provides consistent optical performance over distances where copper DAC may not suffice and supports digital diagnostic monitoring.
