Axiom SFP-25G-AOC15M-AX
The Axiom‑25G‑AOC15M‑AX is a high-performance, 15-meter Active Optical Cable tailored for Cisco 25 Gigabit Ethernet environments. Constructed with built-in optical transceivers and OM3 multimode fiber, this SFP28 AOC delivers ultra-fast, low-latency 25 Gbps connectivity between network devices—ideal for leaf-spine architectures, server-to-switch links, and inter-rack setups. Factory pre-configured and uniquely serialized for Cisco platforms, it ensures seamless plug‑and‑play deployment with zero configuration headachesLightweight and ESSO-friendly, it optimizes airflow and cable tidiness, embodying robust yet efficient networking solutions for modern data centers.
Features
The Axiom‑25G‑AOC15M‑AX fully complies with the SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3by 25GBASE‑CR standards, delivering reliable 25 Gbps performance over a 15 m span As an Active Optical Cable (AOC), it embeds optical transceivers within the cable assembly—extending reach and preserving signal integrity better than copper DACs or modular optics. Preloaded with Cisco-specific serialization and coding, this cable functions identically to OEM originals without manual tuning or compatibility concerns . Its cable jacket, in the standard aqua color, underscores its 25 G designation while aiding visual cable management Crafted to operate reliably between 0 °C and 70 °C, this cable is suited for rigorous conditions and long-term deployment in enterprise networks.
Advanced Options
The AxiomSFP‑25G‑AOC15M‑AX excels in delivering reliable and consistent high-speed connectivity across modern data center environments. By integrating optical transceiver functions directly into the cable, it eliminates the alignment and failure risks commonly associated with separate transceiver modules and patch cords. Its factory programming—complete with unique serialization—ensures seamless compatibility with Cisco systems like Catalyst (9200/9500) and Nexus (9000) platforms, helping infrastructure teams avoid configuration errors and interoperability issues The active optical design not only supports longer distances but also maintains exceptional signal fidelity, ensuring near-zero bit-error rates and immunity to electromagnetic noise.
