Overview :

The NETGEAR R6900-200NAS is a Nighthawk AC1900 dual-band Gigabit wireless router designed for wired and wireless network connectivity. It combines dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Gigabit Ethernet switching and USB storage sharing. 

Wireless performance is rated at up to 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz. The platform uses a 1 GHz dual-core processor, three external antennas, 3x3 wireless operation on both bands, and beamforming.

Connectivity includes one Gigabit WAN port, four Gigabit LAN ports, and one USB 3.0 port. The tabletop design is intended for desktop or edge placement rather than standard rack mounting.

The R6900 supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and IPv6, with VPN, QoS, SPI/NAT firewall, and DoS protection features. It should not be selected where Wi-Fi 6/802.11ax capability or rack-mounted enterprise hardware is a requirement.
