Overview
The Ubiquiti UBB-XG-SINGLE-US Building Bridge XG is a 60GHz wireless point-to-point bridge designed to connect separate buildings with a high-capacity wireless link. It combines a 60GHz main radio capable of up to 6Gbps with a 5GHz backup radio and provides both a 10G SFP+ interface and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
This single-unit version is intended for replacement or spare use. A second compatible bridge unit is required for a point-to-point link. Ubiquiti specifies a maximum coverage distance of 500m (1,640ft), subject to deployment conditions and link environment.
Wireless Bridge Architecture
The primary 60GHz radio provides the high-speed point-to-point connection, while the integrated 5GHz radio provides backup connectivity when the 60GHz link cannot be maintained. The 60GHz radio uses 2x2 MIMO and supports channel bandwidths of 2160MHz and 4320MHz.
