It supports up to 75 associated clients per radio and provides a maximum aggregated data rate of 1.2 Gbps via simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation. The device accommodates Power over Ethernet (802.3af) and 12 VDC input, simplifying deployment in ceilings or walls without requiring external controllers. With integrated omni‑directional antennas and a compact footprint of 1.5″ × 6.3″ × 6.3″ (H × W × D), it fits into dense user environments such as professional offices, retail spaces, and classrooms. Security is enforced via WPA2/WPA3 and Enhanced Open guest access while built‑in support for Smart Mesh enables extended coverage where cabling is challenging. The R4W01A is managed through the Aruba Instant On portal or mobile app, providing streamlined provisioning alongside mounting hardware included in pack‑out.
