Overview

The HPE JY722A (Aruba AP-203RP) is a compact and flexible indoor access point designed for remote or branch-office deployments where enterprise wireless features are required but footprint and cost must be controlled. It supports 802.11ac (WiFi 5) in a 2×2:2 spatial-stream configuration with internal antennas and is capable of up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band under optimal conditions. It can operate in controller-based mode or “Instant” controllerless mode, making it suitable for branch or small-office sites that may lack full on-site WLAN controllers. With built-in features like BLE location readiness and advanced RF management, it fits real-world scenarios such as a remote sales office, satellite location, or small-campus building requiring full wireless access and wired client ports.
