Overview

The HPE R3V38A (Aruba AP-503H) is a dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point configured for lower-to-mid density deployments (such as hotel guest rooms, branch offices, dorms). It uses a 2×2:2 MIMO configuration (two transmit, two receive) across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The design includes three RJ-45 ports (one uplink + two downlink or LAN ports) and a USB port for IoT support or custom applications. The model is part of the “500H” hospitality/branch series, supporting features like OFDMA, MU-MIMO, TWT and WPA3 for modern wireless client requirements. 
This unit is a good choice when you need a WiFi 6-capable AP for a branch or hospitality environment with moderate user density, where high-end 4×4 APs would be over-spec’d.
