The HPE R4W44A (also known as Aruba AP-565) is a dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) outdoor access point designed for environments where mobility and outdoor coverage matter—e.g., open campus areas, swimming pool decks, retail patios, warehouse exteriors. With its 2×2:2 radios and integrated omnidirectional antennas, it supports up to ~1.49 Gbps aggregate throughput under HE80/HE20 conditions. The outdoor-rated housing supports operation in extreme conditions including temperature swings and severe weather, making it suitable for deployment where indoor APs would struggle. This product fits when you need enterprise-grade outdoor WiFi (not just consumer-grade) and want to avoid separate antenna mounts or external radios; it keeps installation simpler with integrated antennas, while still offering Wi-Fi 6 features and outdoor resilience.
