The HPE R7J28A is an indoor tri‑band wireless access point designed for managed Wi‑Fi deployments in medium‑ to high‑density environments such as enterprise offices, campuses, healthcare facilities, and education spaces. It provides simultaneous coverage across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands using the Wi‑Fi 6E (IEEE 802.11ax) standard to extend wireless capacity into the newly available 6 GHz spectrum, solving congestion and capacity limits inherent in legacy deployments.

This model features three concurrent 2×2:2 radios capable of up to ~3.9 Gbps aggregate throughput across all bands, supporting high client densities and wider 160 MHz channels for bandwidth‑intensive applications like video conferencing or AR/VR.
