Overview :

The HPE Aruba S3J36A is a dual radio tri-band Wi-Fi 6E access point designed for high-capacity enterprise environments. It leverages the new 6 GHz spectrum alongside traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to deliver enhanced wireless speeds up to 3.9 Gbps, supporting bandwidth-intensive applications such as AR/VR and HD video conferencing. Integrated advanced filtering technology reduces interference, while dual multi-gigabit Ethernet ports ensure network resilience. This access point is also an IoT hub with built-in GPS, environmental sensors, Bluetooth 5, and Zigbee for smart building applications. This tri-band Wi-Fi 6E access point unlocks up to 1200 MHz of spectrum in the 6 GHz band, enabling wider channels and improved capacity over Wi-Fi 6-only devices. The Ultra Tri-Band filtering technology allows the 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios to operate without restrictions or interference, optimizing performance in congested environments.

Equipped with dual 2.5 GbE Smart Rate Ethernet ports, the AP ensures seamless network uptime via failover on both data and power. The device supports a high-density client environment with up to 512 clients per radio and 16 BSSIDs per radio to handle multiple network segments securely. Its built-in sensors and radios, including a GPS receiver and barometric pressure sensor, allow precise indoor location tracking and environmental monitoring. Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radios facilitate connectivity to IoT devices like sensors and beacons for modern enterprise applications. The compact, ceiling-mountable design with internal antennas provides flexible deployment options, suitable for offices, campuses, and other enterprise settings. The AP is compatible with Aruba’s cloud and on-premises management solutions, streamlining IT networking operations and security.
