Overview

The HPE AP‑504‑US is an indoor wireless access point designed for medium‑density environments such as offices, classrooms or retail venues where modern Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity and external antenna flexibility are needed. It supports dual‑radio operation on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands in a 2×2:2 MIMO configuration, offering efficient support for multiple clients with enhanced spectral efficiency. With support for OFDMA, MU‑MIMO (downlink) and advanced client‑steering features, it helps deliver reliable connectivity while optimising airtime usage in concurrent multi‑device scenarios. The unit includes external antenna connectors to accommodate customised coverage patterns, and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or DC power options for flexible deployment.
