The HPE R7T19A is a ruggedized, high-performance outdoor wireless access point engineered for demanding enterprise and industrial environments. As part of the Aruba 580 Series, its primary purpose is to deliver secure and reliable multi-gigabit Wi-Fi 6 connectivity in harsh outdoor locations where protection from the elements is critical. It solves the challenge of extending high-density wireless coverage to areas like campuses, stadiums, and industrial yards. This access point leverages the 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard to provide greater network efficiency and capacity. It also features integrated high-power Bluetooth and Zigbee radios to directly support a wide range of Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications without requiring a separate gateway. The inclusion of Target Wake Time (TWT) helps extend the battery life of connected IoT devices by scheduling communication intervals.
