Overview :

The NETGEAR RBE873-100NAS is an Orbi 870 Series three-piece mesh WiFi 7 system comprising one RBE871 router and two RBE870 satellites. It is designed for high-capacity home and small-office networks requiring broad wireless coverage and multi-gigabit connectivity.

The system provides up to 21 Gbps combined WiFi throughput across tri-band 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz operation. The router provides one 10GbE WAN port and four 2.5GbE LAN ports, while each satellite provides four 2.5GbE LAN ports.

Deployment is intended for whole-home or comparable small-office environments rather than rack-mounted data-center infrastructure. It requires a high-speed internet connection through an existing modem or gateway and supports wired multi-gigabit backhaul where required.

It is not intended as a conventional rack-mounted enterprise access point or a standalone enterprise wireless controller platform. For deployments requiring centralized enterprise WLAN management or rack infrastructure, a dedicated enterprise networking platform is more appropriate.
