Overview

The NETGEAR RBE970-100CNS is a standalone add-on satellite for the Orbi 970 mesh WiFi 7 ecosystem, intended to extend wireless coverage without needing a redundant router. It supports quad-band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz ×2, 6 GHz) with dedicated backhaul paths, enabling aggregate speeds up to 27 Gbps. This unit augments coverage by up to ~3,000 ft² when paired with a compatible Orbi 970 router. It integrates transparently into the Orbi app framework, inheriting network settings and management from the primary router.
