Eaton SRWF2U36 - 2U Wall Mount Rack Cabinet 36″ Depth

Overview

The Eaton SRWF2U36 is a 2U vertical wall-mount rack enclosure built to secure and organize standard 19-inch rack equipment in spaces where floor footprint is limited but reliable mechanical support is required. IT infrastructure and network technicians typically deploy this in wiring closets, retail backrooms, education AV closets, and compact office spaces that need rack-mount infrastructure off the floor. It protects equipment physically while maintaining structured mounting alignment.

This unit supports 2U of usable rack space for servers, switches, UPS units, and other 19-inch gear, with a maximum supported depth of ~36 in (914 mm)×allowing deeper devices than many low-profile wall racks. The cabinet's vertical profile extends just a few inches from the wall, optimizing space usage while providing a stable mechanical anchor for installed hardware.

It fits within a wall-mount rack ecosystem and is designed to hold standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment in environments with constrained floor area. The inclusion of internal cable access points and a slide-out patch panel bracket simplifies structured cabling termination and organization at the top of the enclosure.

Integration into facility infrastructure is mechanical: the cabinet ships fully assembled and includes mounting hardware (M6 and 12-24 screws and cup washers) and keyed locking front door. Standard EIA-310 compliance means most rack equipment, patch panels, and PDUs mount directly without adapters. Ventilation and cable access features maintain airflow and structured cable paths.

In practical deployment, use SRWF2U36 to mount network switches and associated patch panels at entry points in small closets or junction spaces where floor racks would impede traffic. Its deep internal capacity also accommodates UPS units or deep servers when mounted vertically.

This product should not be used in environments where seismic bracing is required without appropriate hardware; wall-mounted loads must be supported by building-grade anchors sized for the full assembly weight plus installed equipment. Also avoid use outdoors without additional environmental protection as this cabinet is not rated for outdoor exposure.
