The Eaton Tripp Lite Series SRN3RG9US is a heavy-duty, locking 9U industrial wall-mount rack enclosure cabinet engineered for harsh and unconditioned environments. Infrastructure engineers and field teams deploy this ruggedized platform to isolate and protect critical network hardware, including industrial switches, servers, edge UPS systems, patch panels, and surveillance DVRs, from severe ambient threats.

Constructed from fully welded steel with a durable gray powder-coated finish, the SfRN3RG9US features a NEMA 3R rating. The physical chassis provides explicit protection against the ingress of falling dirt and water, including rain, sleet, and snow, while tolerating external ice formation without structural failure. This makes it ideal for deployment across factories, transportation terminals, construction yards, distribution hubs, and power stations. Passive climate management is supplemented by two top-mounted internal cooling fans equipped with a built-in thermal switch that automatically engages when internal temperatures reach 86°F (30°C).

The mechanical framework features a heavy-duty dual-hinged configuration. The entire enclosure swings away from its wall-mounting plate on a sturdy rear hinge, providing technical teams with unhindered back-door accessibility to power cabling and data line punchdowns during active termination cycles. Equipment integration inside the 19-inch EIA-compliant framework uses four independently adjustable vertical mounting rails that move linearly to host equipment depths up to 28 inches.
