Overview :

The Eaton SRW6UDPGVRT is a 6U low-profile, switch-depth-plus wall-mount rack enclosure engineered to secure and organize network and IT equipment in space-limited environments. It is deployed by network engineers and infrastructure technicians in branch offices, IDF wiring closets, classrooms, and retail IT spaces where a compact, secure rack is required.

Constructed from heavy-duty powder-coated steel, this cabinet accommodates up to 6U of standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment and supports equipment depths up to approximately 20.5 in (520 mm). It includes adjustable front and rear mounting rails so deeper switches, patch panels, and small UPS units can be positioned correctly for structured racks.

This wall-mount enclosure integrates a shatter-resistant clear acrylic front window that allows visual monitoring of equipment status without unlocking the door. Lockable front and side panels provide physical security to prevent tampering and protect sensitive electronics. Vertical cable managers with integrated finger ducts improve routing while wider cabinet dimensions reduce rear cable clutter and improve airflow.

From an integration perspective, the cabinet supports EIA-310 compliant 19-inch rack gear and is designed to mount securely to walls using user-supplied hardware. Grounding points on door frames enable bonding to facility earth ground, meeting physical infrastructure best practices. Vented top, bottom, and side panels allow optional fans (sold separately) to improve active airflow where needed.

A practical deployment example includes installing the SRW6UDPGVRT in a retail store back office to house a network switch, VoIP gateway, patch panel, and small router.
