Overview
The Ubiquiti UACC-G6-180-Enhancer-B is a black camera enhancement accessory designed specifically for the UniFi G6 180 camera. It adds long-range infrared illumination, a 600-lumen light, and an integrated buzzer to extend the camera's nighttime visibility and provide an audible alert function. The enhancer is powered directly by the UVC-G6-180 camera and uses a weather-resistant aluminum alloy and polycarbonate construction.
Long-Range IR Illumination
The enhancer provides IR illumination up to 40 m (130 ft), extending the available infrared lighting for the compatible G6 180 camera. This is intended to improve nighttime scene illumination while the camera operates in night mode.
Integrated Floodlight
A built-in 600-lumen light provides additional visible illumination for the camera's monitored area. The integrated light can supplement available lighting when additional scene illumination is required.
Integrated Buzzer
The UACC-G6-180-Enhancer-B includes an integrated buzzer that adds an audible alert capability to compatible G6 180 camera installations.
Direct Camera Power
The enhancer is powered through the UVC-G6-180 camera rather than requiring a separate external power connection. Ubiquiti specifies a 5V DC, 2A power supply for the enhancer and a maximum power consumption of 10W.
Outdoor-Ready Construction
The enhancer uses an aluminum alloy enclosure with polycarbonate components and an aluminum alloy mounting structure. Its IP66 weatherproofing supports installation in outdoor environments, while the specified operating temperature range is -20°C to 50°C.
UniFi Protect Integration
The G6 180 Enhancer works with the UVC-G6-180 within the UniFi Protect ecosystem. UniFi Protect is supported through the web application and UniFi Protect mobile applications for iOS and Android.
