TRENDnet TWP-100R1K 4K Wireless Presenter HDMI Kit
Overview
The TRENDnet TWP-100R1K is a 4K wireless presenter kit designed to eliminate physical cable constraints in professional and educational environments. This system serves as a wireless HDMI extension solution, ideal for boardrooms, classrooms, and lecture halls where multiple users need to share content seamlessly. It addresses the common challenge of connecting various source devices to a central display by creating a reliable, high-definition wireless link for audio and video. This wireless presentation system leverages the IEEE 802.11ac standard to transmit video resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz) and 5.1 channel audio. A key operational benefit is its support for split-screen functionality, allowing up to four different presenters to display their screens simultaneously, fostering real-time collaboration. The system can manage connections from up to 32 individual devices, enabling users to switch presenters with a single button press. Deployment is streamlined through a plug-and-play architecture. The compact receiver unit (TWP-101R) connects to any projector or TV via HDMI, while the transmitter unit (TWP-101T) connects to the source laptop or computer. This setup is compatible across multiple platforms, including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, ensuring broad device support without complex driver installations or network configuration.
