Overview :
Note: Official manufacturer data for this part number was not available. The following information is compiled from top-tier distributor sources and should be verified. The Logitech TAPMSTBASEASU is a pre-configured video conferencing kit designed to establish a foundational Microsoft Teams Rooms environment. This base bundle is targeted at IT departments and facility managers who need to deploy a consistent and reliable touch-control interface for Teams meetings, while retaining the flexibility to use their own certified USB conference cameras and audio peripherals. It solves the challenge of standardizing the user experience across multiple meeting rooms, regardless of size or existing AV equipment. At its core, the solution pairs the Logitech Tap, a 10.1-inch touchscreen controller, with a dedicated ASUS NUC mini-PC that comes pre-imaged for Microsoft Teams Rooms. This combination ensures a seamless, one-touch join experience, minimizing user friction and support tickets. The Tap controller features a clean, motion-activated interface and commercial-grade cabling with a robust retention system, ensuring connections remain secure and the device is always ready for the next meeting. Deployment is simplified with the included PC mount, which allows the ASUS NUC to be discreetly installed under a table, behind a display, or within a cabinet. This bundle provides the essential hardware for a touch-controlled Teams Room, allowing IT managers to create a standardized, easy-to-use meeting space that can be scaled by adding the appropriate USB cameras and microphones for each specific room's requirements.
