The APC AR7721 is a vertical cable management accessory engineered to organize and support structured cabling within 42 U rack enclosures that are 600 mm wide. It is deployed by network and data center infrastructure teams to segregate power and data cabling, reduce stress on connectors, and maintain systematic routing. Mechanically, the AR7721 comprises two rigid cable managers with spaced plastic cable fingers designed to hold and route bundles of cabling along the full rack height without consuming horizontal rack units. This vertical orientation preserves U‑space for active equipment while providing defined pathways for cabling. 

It is intended for installation in enclosed rack systems such as APC NetShelter SX and equivalent 42 U, 600 mm wide cabinets. The zero‑U mount attaches to the rack’s side uprights, keeping cable runs neat and accessible without interfering with installed devices. The design supports improved airflow within the rack by keeping cabling out of the front‑to‑rear thermal path, which aids cooling efficiency for densely populated racks.
