Overview :

The Eaton Tripp Lite Series B203-101-POC is a plug-and-play USB 2.0 over Cat5/Cat6 extender kit engineered to extend a USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 signal up to 150 feet (45.7 meters) from a host computer. Designed for digital signage, security monitoring, interactive whiteboards, and IT workstation environments, it bypasses the standard 16-foot USB distance limitation using affordable, standardized twisted-pair network cabling.

Featuring Power over Cable (PoC) technology, the system draws power directly from the host computer's USB port to supply both the local transmitter and remote receiver units. This bus-powered architecture eliminates the need for external AC power adapters or bulky wall transformers at either end of the connection.

Deployable in commercial offices, industrial control rooms, classrooms, and retail spaces. Connects a USB host (PC, Mac, server) to remote peripherals including webcams, touchscreens, card readers, barcode scanners, and printers. Do NOT use for network Ethernet data routing through active switches or routers; requires a direct, point-to-point Cat5/5e/6 UTP cable connection.
