Eaton CSC42AC Tripp Lite Series 42-Device AC Charging Cart
Overview
The Eaton CSC42AC is a robust and efficient mobile charging station designed to manage, secure, and charge up to 42 laptops, Chromebooks, or tablets with screen sizes up to 15 inches. This unit is an indispensable asset for educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail environments, and corporate offices where multiple portable devices require organized power delivery and secure storage. It effectively addresses the logistical challenges of deploying and maintaining a fleet of mobile devices by consolidating charging and protection into a single, mobile solution. Engineered for intelligent power distribution, the CSC42AC features 42 internal NEMA 5-15R outlets capable of providing up to 1440 watts of total charging power. To prevent overloads and optimize energy consumption, these outlets are divided into two color-coded charging zones that operate on an hourly timed cycle. A built-in circuit breaker further safeguards connected devices against electrical anomalies, ensuring reliable operation. The cart is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, offering a secure enclosure for valuable equipment. Front and back doors are equipped with locks, and an additional padlock can be used on the front door for enhanced security. Flow-through ventilation helps maintain optimal operating temperatures, while specially coated shelves protect devices from scratches. Designed for practical deployment and easy management, the cart features large swivel casters with non-marking wheels for smooth traversal over varied floor surfaces, complemented by a reversible wide-grip handle for effortless control. Corner safety bumpers protect walls and doorways from accidental impacts during movement. Beyond its primary charging function, the laminated wood-grain top can serve as a convenient workstation, supporting peripherals such as monitors or projectors that can draw power from two external NEMA 5-15R outlets. An in-cabinet RJ45 jack also allows for connecting Ethernet devices like wireless routers or hotspots, integrating network connectivity directly into the mobile charging solution.
