Overview
The Ubiquiti UACC-G4-INS-CABLE-USB-4.5M is a 4.5-meter Instant Camera PoE-to-USB-C cable designed to connect compatible Ubiquiti cameras to a PoE source. The cable provides a longer connection option for installations where the standard cable length is insufficient.
This cable is designed for Ubiquiti Instant Camera deployments and is used with a compatible PoE-to-USB-C adapter. Ubiquiti specifies the cable length as 4.5 meters (14.76 feet), with a white thermoplastic elastomer jacket and shielded twisted-pair construction.
Compatibility
Ubiquiti identifies the cable as an accessory for connecting a Camera G4/G6 Instant to a PoE source. The required PoE-to-USB-C adapter is sold separately. This cable should be used with compatible Ubiquiti equipment rather than treated as a generic USB-C networking cable.
Cable Construction
The cable uses stranded copper conductors with a combination of 24 AWG and 30 AWG conductors. Its jacket is made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), with a 3.5 mm outer diameter. The cable uses shielded twisted-pair (STP) construction and has a minimum bend radius of 14 mm.
Key Features
- 4.5 m (14.76 ft) cable length
- Designed for Ubiquiti Instant Camera PoE-to-USB-C connections
- White TPE cable jacket
- Shielded twisted-pair (STP) construction
- VW-1 flame rating under UL1581
Applications
The UACC-G4-INS-CABLE-USB-4.5M is intended for extending the connection between a compatible Ubiquiti Instant Camera and its PoE-to-USB-C power/network adapter. Its 14.76-foot length can accommodate camera installations requiring a longer cable route.
DC Supplies Product Note
The PoE-to-USB-C adapter is sold separately. This part number is the 4.5-meter cable only, so verify that the required adapter and compatible Instant Camera are available for the intended installation.
