Overview :

The Eaton EBP-1002 is a factory-integrated battery cartridge designed for use as a replacement in Eaton 5P/5PX series UPS systems by engineers servicing branch, data centre or edge environments. It provides the sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery assembly rated for single-phase use, compatible with models such as the 5P2000, 5P2200RT and 5PX2200 series, thus enabling runtime restoration without full UPS replacement. The unit installs via the existing wiring harness and supports hot-swap installation so connected equipment need not be powered down during service work. With its compact 18.37″ × 12.75″ × 6.75″ footprint and approximately 27 lb weight, this cartridge fits the 2 kVa rack/tower UPS enclosures and aligns with standard maintenance workflows in branch offices, campus server rooms and network edge cabinets. The scope includes integration via the original battery tray and harness; no additional external battery enclosure or redesign is required.
