Overview
The Eaton EBP-1003 is a replacement internal battery pack designed to restore runtime capability for select Eaton 5P and 5PX UPS systems. This sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery cartridge is used by IT engineers and facilities teams to refresh or replace depleted internal UPS batteries as part of scheduled maintenance or post-end-of-life refresh cycles. It reinstates original runtime characteristics when installed in compatible UPS models that rely on internal battery cartridges.
This pack is hot-swappable, allowing replacement without powering down the UPS or attached critical loads, which is vital for maintaining uptime in network closets, server racks, or edge IT enclosures. The battery is pre-wired and certified to meet original specification requirements for performance and safety.

The EBP-1003 is not an external battery module (EBM). It serves strictly as an internal battery replacement for UPS models manufactured to accept this cartridge. Using it outside specified systems or attempting to substitute it for an EBM is unsupported.
