APC SRT96BP – 96V External Battery Pack for Smart‑UPS 3 kVA

Overview :

The APC SRT96BP is an external battery pack designed to extend runtime for compatible APC Smart‑UPS On‑Line 3 kVA systems using a 96 V DC battery bus. It is used by IT operations and data center teams to provide predictable backup duration during utility outages and support orderly shutdowns of critical loads.

This battery pack uses sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) chemistry and supports hot‑swappable replacement, allowing battery servicing without disconnecting the UPS load when configured correctly.

Delivered in a 2 U rackmount form factor for standard 19″ cabinets, the SRT96BP integrates mounting hardware to secure it alongside the connected UPS.

The design helps maintain orderly cable and power delivery paths, and by locating the battery pack adjacent to the UPS, it simplifies runtime scaling by connecting additional packs as needed
