Overview :

The Eaton Tripp Lite N286-01GLC-TE is an SFP transceiver module used by network engineers to add a copper RJ-45 port to a compatible SFP slot on a switch or router. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) Ethernet over Cat6 copper cabling up to 100 m, solving the need for copper-to-SFP connectivity where no fiber port is available. It is suitable for data-centers, campus switching closets or branch deployments where copper connectivity is required. The module is hot-swappable and MSA-compliant, allowing integration with Cisco-compatible equipment without powering down the host device.
