The HP JD093B is a hot-pluggable SFP+ optical transceiver designed for network engineers deploying 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in enterprise and data-centre environments. It supports a 10 Gb/s data rate over multi-mode or single-mode fibre with a 1310 nm wavelength, enabling network upgrades over existing fibre infrastructure. With a reach of up to approximately 220 m on OM3 multimode fibre and up to 300 m on single-mode fibre, it bridges short-to-mid-range links at data centre edge, campus aggregation or distribution layers. The module supports digital optical monitoring (DOM/ DDM), facilitating link diagnostics and maintenance. Its IEEE 802.3ae (10GBASE-LRM) form-factor compatibility ensures integration with standard SFP+ ports.
