Overview

The Ubiquiti UACC‑OM‑QSFP28‑SR4 is a QSFP28 pluggable optical transceiver designed for 100 Gigabit Ethernet short‑reach links over multi‑mode fiber. It fits standard QSFP28 ports and converts electrical signals to optical for high‑speed connections between switches, servers, or optical distribution frames within data centers or enterprise backbones. The SR4 classification uses four lanes of 25 Gbps over OM3/OM4 fiber to deliver aggregated 100 Gbps throughput up to 100 m without external optics conversion. This module is appropriate for high‑capacity campus and rack‑to‑rack connectivity where fiber infrastructure supports multi‑mode runs.
