The Axiom AXG102463 10GBASE-BX40-U SFP+ transceiver is designed for upstream simplex bidirectional 10 Gigabit Ethernet communication over single-mode fiber. Compatible with Aruba network hardware, this module enables high-speed data transmission at distances up to 40 kilometers over a single strand of fiber, optimizing cabling infrastructure while maintaining high network performance.

This bidirectional SFP+ transceiver supports 10GBASE-BX40-U standard, transmitting at 1270nm and receiving at 1330nm wavelengths via a single simplex LC fiber connector. The bidirectional technology allows for data communication in both directions over a single fiber strand, effectively doubling fiber utilization and reducing infrastructure costs. The transceiver is fully compliant with MSA standards, ensuring broad interoperability with Aruba and other compatible equipment.
