Overview

The HPE JG709A is a 40 Gb QSFP+ transceiver module designed for high‑speed data‑center interconnects over multimode fiber. It supports 40GBASE‑SR4 signaling using an 850 nm VCSEL and MPO/MTP connector. It’s hot-swappable for flexibility and integrates with compatible HPE switches and routers to provide scalable, low-latency 40 Gb links. This module is used in core or aggregation layers where high bandwidth is required.
