Overview
The HPE JC859A is a hot-swappable 10-Gigabit SFP+ optical transceiver made for short-range multimode fibre (MMF) applications in data-centres, such as switch-to-switch or server-to-top-of-rack links. It supports the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR specification at an 850 nm wavelength and enables link distances up to approximately 300 metres over OM3 multimode fibre.
